Copycat Jolly Holiday Tomato Basil Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwich

If you know me, you know how much I love Jolly Holiday at Disneyland. This cute little restaurant has the best location by the castle, the most delicious treats and one of my absolute favorite meals in the entire park: the Jolly Holiday Combo.

If you haven’t tried this combo, it’s an absolute must! The perfectly toasted grilled cheese sandwich and the warm tomato basil soup to dip it in is one of my favorite quick meals to grab in the parks.

I’ve been missing Disney so much lately and the weather where I live has been grey and stormy lately which it put me on the mood for a nice grilled cheese sandwich and soup. So, I went to work to recreate the Jolly Holiday combo and now that I’ve got it just right, I’m going to share it with you!

Copycat Mickey Gingerbread Man Cookies

If you have visited Disneyland during the holiday months, then you know how many delicious seasonal treats they have to offer. But the star of the holidays in the parks is the most perfect treat to ever exist. The Mickey gingerbread man cookie.

This cookie is not only adorable but absolute gingerbread perfection. Perfectly baked so it was still soft and having just the right amount of spice, this seasonal treat is every gingerbread lovers dream. They were so popular that they sell out almost daily and when I was trying to get one, I had to visit Jolly Holiday 3 different times to finally get my hands on one but it was definitely worth the wait!


Now if you don’t get to visit the parks very often or don’t have a holiday trip planned, you may miss this delicious goodie. But I have recreated these delicious cookies so you can make them right I your own kitchen! So let’s get to it!

Disneyland’s Marshmallow Wand and Caramel Sticks Copycat Recipes

If you’ve been following along with me for a while, you know how much I love the various confectionaries at Disneyland. There is just so much goodness packed into these cute little shops that make them a must on every trip!

I could sit for hours and watch the candy artists make these delicious treats and would gladly try one of everything they’ve got! Some of my personal favorites are their caramel apples, Mickey s’mores, and churro toffee.

But today I wanted to recreate some iconic Disney treats and one not so known treat. Everyone has seen a Tigger tail and churro marshmallow wand while walking around the parks or browsing Pooh’s Corner. These cute treats are marshmallows dipped in caramel and then coated in chocolate and sugar. But another treat you can find at the Candy Palace on Main Street are the Caramel Sticks. These are not always available and are only made on certain days but they’re definitely worth hunting for them.

Disneyland’s confectionaries are some of my favorite places on earth. The cozy atmosphere, the delicious smell of vanilla and sugar floating through the air, and all the yummy treats everywhere you turn like churro toffee and Mickey s’mores. There really is nothing better.

Of all the delicious options, one of my absolute favorites are their caramel apples. Whether it’s a plain caramel apple, a beautifully decorated Mickey or Minnie apple, or even the yummy apple pie option, they’re always a great choice.

Copycat Churro Toffee

The different candy shops in Disneyland are some of my absolute favorite places to get a sweet treat! From the caramel apples to the cookies, Mickey s’mores and cake pops, everything is so good! But one of my absolute favorites is their churro toffee!

This treat is pretty new to the parks and has gained popularity so quickly! It’s delicious traditional toffee coated in white chocolate and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Oh my goodness it’s good!

Mickey Pretzels Recipe

Everyone loves a Mickey shaped treat, and one of the most iconic Mickey treats are the soft pretzels you can find at various carts around the parks!

You just can’t beat the soft, warm inside with the golden brown outside and bits of salt. And whether you prefer them plain, in a dipping sauce, or stuffed with cream cheese, Disney pretzels are an absolute staple when visiting the parks.

Raspberry Rose Mickey Macarons Recipe

One of my absolute favorite restaurants at Disneyland is Jolly Holiday. Their meals are delicious but even better than that are all the treats they have! They’ve got something for everyone from eclairs to cookies to muffins. But the best treat they have here is the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron!

They introduced this treat in 2017 for the release of the live-action Beauty and the Beast and I am so happy that it has stuck around as a permanent treat on the menu! And not only is is absolutely delicious, but it’s beautiful as well!

Grey Stuff Gâteau Cupcakes


Thanks to Beauty and the Beast, The Grey Stuff has become one of the most well known Disney treats but for a long time, you could only find it at the Be Our Guest restaurant in Walt Disney World.

But in 2017, Disneyland opened the Red Rose Tavern in Fantasyland and with it came the west coasts own version of the grey stuff. And just like Lumiere says, it really is delicious!

Disneyland’s version has the shortbread cookie and the grey stuff just like Disney World but what makes it different is the red velvet cake and raspberry center. It is so good and has rightfully claimed a spot on my Disney Top 10 Treats list!

So loving this treat, I decided to put my own spin on it. These Grey Stuff Gâteau cupcakes are a red velvet cupcake with a raspberry filling and grey stuff frosting. So let’s get started making this delicious Disney treat in your own home!
