One of the best things about Disney is all of their delicious food! They have so many options when it comes to snacks and restaurants you will never have a problem of finding something delicious to eat! No matter how many times I visit the parks, I feel like I never have enough time to try all the things I want to because there are so many options.
It’s hard to decide what you need to try and what not to try while still having time to have your tried and true favorites. I love to try as many new options as I can on each trip, but here are my top 10 favorites I go back to again and again that you for sure need to try on your next trip:

#10- Caramel Apples
Disney’s caramel apples are delicious! They use huge green apples that are nice and tart and then they’re coated in a delicious caramel. They have lots of options to choose from as well. I usually get just the basic caramel apple because they’re easiest to eat but you can get them with various toppings like chopped nuts or you can get the adorable decorated ones that look like Mickey and Minnie, or fun themed ones during Halloween Time and the Holidays. These make the perfect treat to eat on the go or to grab on your way back to your hotel, but my tip is find a knife to eat it, it’s much easier and less messy then biting into it! You can find these at Pooh Corner and Candy Palace in Disneyland, Trolley Treats in California Adventure, and Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney.

#9- Dole Whip Float
Ah, the dole whip. Easily one of the most classic Disney treats. You can get just the dole whip as just a soft serve or you can get it in a float with fresh pineapple juice. I have had both but I prefer the float because the juice gives the dole whip a little more flavor. You can find the traditional dole whip at the Tiki Juice Bar or the Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland as well as at Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel.
You can get the plain dole whip at every spot they are offered in the park, but at Tropical Hideaway they also offer other flavors besides pineapple so you can get those flavors plain or do them in a swirl. They also offer specialty floats at different times during the year that are worth checking out. If you get your dole whip at the Tiki Juice Bar, you can then go into the Enchanted Tiki Room to enjoy the show, which is a great way to cool off and rest your feet. #8- The Grey Stuff Gateau
This dessert is a shortbread cookie that has a small red velvet cake on top of it that has a raspberry center. Then, surrounding the red velvet cake is a delicious mouse that tastes like cookies and cream. This dessert is so yummy! The grey stuff part is to die for and I loved the red velvet cake and the shortbread cookie because I already love those treats on their own. Put them all together and it is simply fantastic! Be my guest and try the grey stuff on your next trip. It’s delicious! You can find this delicious treat at the Red Rose Tavern in Fantasyland, right across from Dumbo!
If you want to experience the Grey Stuff Gateau but can’t make it to the parks, try out my Grey Stuff Gateau cupcakes at home!
#7- Mint Julep & Beignets
To me, mint juleps and beignets are just a match made in heaven and a must on any Disney trip. Honestly, thereβs nothing better then skipping breakfast and heading to the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square for a nice cold mint julep and a bag of warm beignets for breakfast. Mint juleps can be quite a polarizing drink, you either love them or you don’t. A lot of people, including most of my family, think they taste like toothpaste, but I honestly love them. They also do seasonal flavors of both the mint juleps and the beignets so be sure to check the menu and see if they are offering any new flavors during your visit. The strawberry and hibiscus mint juleps have been my favorite and I absolutely love the pumpkin beignets!

#6- Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron
Probably one of the most famous treats at Disneyland is the raspberry rose Mickey macaron. It’s a bright red macaron filled with a raspberry rose cream and fresh raspberries sandwiched in the middle. It looks beautiful and tastes even better. The rose is there but not too strong so you donβt feel like you just got punched in the face by a rose bush and the raspberries add a nice fresh flavor. This macaron is available at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland and has a tendency to sell out because of it’s popularity. My tip is to mobile order it first thing in the morning to pick up later in the day to guarantee- you get yours!
#5- Boysen Apple Freeze
This yummy is an apple juice slush that has boysenberry syrup in it and is topped with a passion fruit foam. This drink is so cold and refreshing, it’s the perfect drink to grab during a warm day at the park! Also, this is not Le Fou’s Brew from Disney World, it’s a different drink so make sure you try it! You can find it at Maurice’s Treats in the Fantasy Faire area right outside the Royal Theatre.

#4- Cream Cheese Pretzel
Pretzels are great, but pretzels stuffed with a sweet cream cheese is top notch. These treats are warm and delicious, but not overly sweet. They’re the perfect snack to grab and eat on the go or as you’re leaving the park. You can find these delicious treats at the Tomorrowland Pretzel Cart, the Small World Pretzel Cart, Bayside Brews, and Refreshment Corner. There is also a jalapeno cheese filled pretzel which is also good, especially if you want a more savory option, but it doesn’t quite make my top 10 list. Still try it though because it is good!
#3- Ocean Beach Sea Salt Caramel Sundae
If you are in California Adventure, head over to SanFransokyo Square and head to the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain where you can find the Ocean Beach Sea Salt Caramel Sundae. This is an absolutely delicious and indulgent treat. It’s vanilla ice cream with sea salt caramel sauce and warm hot fudge, topped with a salted caramel Ghirardelli chocolate square. It is so good but it is definitely on the rich side, so this is a treat you could easily split if you get sweeted out easily.
#2- Jack Jack Cookie Num Num
I love a good cookie and the absolute best cookie is the Jack Jack Cookie Num Num from Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums near the exit of the Incredicoaster. This is a giant chocolate chip cookie that is superior to any chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had. They will warm it up for you and it makes the perfect combination of a soft centered cookie, melty chocolate chips, with the perfect hint of salt. They are just so good. Get a carton of milk to go with it and enjoy it while waiting in line for an attraction on the pier!
#1- Jungle Julep
This is hands down the most delicious treat at Disneyland in my opinion. It’s a slushy drink that has grape, orange, pineapple, and lemon juice. It sounds simple, but it really is so nice and refreshing. You can find this at the Bengal Barbeque in Adventureland right by the Adventureland Treehouse. It does not show up on the menu on the Disneyland app and it is not offered during the holidays if they have another seasonal flavor going on, but just mobile order or order at the counter and it will be an option if they are offering it.
If you want to make these jungle juleps at home, you can check out my copycat recipe here!
